OB3 was jointly appointed with Arad and Dateb to undertake an evaluation of Welsh medium provision in Initial Teacher Education (ITE). Thework includes a desk based review of strategic and operational documentation, interviewing a range of contributors including current student teachers, teachers who have been teaching for up to five years, coordinators and mentors in schools, representatives from all ITE centres and other key stakeholders. The evaluation will provide evidence to inform the ITE reform process that is currently taking place in Wales.
