OB3 Research is undertaking an evaluation of the One Wales Foundation Degrees on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales. The domestically funded part-time foundation degrees were developed and delivered over three academic years from 2011/12. Our research will explore issues of recruitment, retention and effectiveness and will look in particular at whether there was a focus on upskilling the existing workforce and improving market awareness of the opportunities provided by part-time foundation degrees.
