Economic Impact Assessment of Rhyl Aquatic Centre conducted by OB3 Research

Denbighshire County Council commissioned OB3 Research in partnership with Professor Max Munday to undertake an economic impact assessment of Rhyl Aquatic Centre. The proposed new development would include a 1200sqm leisure pool, an eight lane 25m swimming pool with movable flooring, indoor and outdoor flume rides, and a children's water play area. It would also host climbing facilities, party rooms, an internal café and outdoor space.

The total investment cost is estimated to be just under £17m. OB3's work provides an independent assessment of the potential economic contribution of the centre, to help inform the Council's decision making processes.
