The Welsh Government has appointed OB3 Research, in conjunction with the Welsh Institute of Health and Social Care (WIHSC) at University of South Wales, to undertake an evaluation of the revenue side of the Integrated Care Fund (ICF). The ICF is a preventative programme which drives forward the integration of health, social care and housing to imporve the lives of the most vulnerable people in Wales.
Projects and services funded by the ICF are aimed at making better use of resources by working collaboratively and using alternative delivery models. It focuses on person centred care provided at or close to home.
The evaluation of the ICF will look back at the impact of the programme since its introduction and the findings will be used to help inform future funding decisions.
